Fertilis ™ earthworm castings is the brand name for one of the main products of the Company, Planner Bee Plant Care, started by Carmen Nottingham in the early 1990’s.
Over the past 20 years, we have been producing Fertilis ™ earthworm castings, as well as earthworm composts, worm bins and doggie-loo’s.
We have also extensively researched, piloted, and implemented larger-scale waste management projects using earthworm technology.
It may be doubted whether there are many other animals which have played so important a part in the history of the world, as have these lowly organised creatures
Workshops are hands-on and practical, with physical tasks given in both individual and teamwork situations. Every module has supporting written information.
Laying the foundation for the GREEN ECONOMY: EWM (Earthworm Waste Management) and SCARAB (Specialised Composting And Recycling of Abattoir Bulk) work hand-in-hand to convert - through earthworm processing - large-scale industrial wastes, such as waste activated sludge, abattoir offal, municipal waste.
